We cannot wait for this wedding! These two are tying the knott this weekend and we are so excited. We did their engagment shoot waaaay back last spring. As Melainie put it when we talked last, “that engagment shoot seems like forever ago, you were still waddling around pregnant.” Yikes. It’s true. Drew wasn’t even born when we took these images. Crazy. Now he’s 10 months old.
Melaine and Kyle - what can I say? You look at these two and they just make your heart melt. This is one of those weddings that will probably make us cry. Sweet, sweet couple. It has rained a couple times this week, so I’m hoping Mother Nature can get it out of her system before the big day!
Here is the happy couple - nearly a whole year ago. Wow.
Meet Cameron and Dainius, quite possibly our zaniest couple of the season. Their wedding isn’t until October, but because these two are out of town more than they are in town, we thought it would be best to catch them for their engagment shoot sooner than later. These two are just awesome and they have the coolest dog who came along for the session - a very photogenic and well behaved pup!

Just because we didn’t feel busy enough with 3 kids, we added a puppy to the mix! Meet Truman, our new and beloved Beagle.

Once again - I am finding the need to apologize for my spotty blog posting. Please forgive me. I had to have surgery last week - nothing big, just a troublesome gall bladder that was causing me some pain. But - it’s out. I’m recovering, and we’re good to go. We actually did an engagment shoot just 3 days after the surgery. Of course, Steve did the shooting, I just did the bossing, and thankfully our clients had a great sense of humor because I was still on my pain meds at that point. Good times!
So - with this little update - I am back to work, sitting happily at my computer, uploading pictures, designing albums, and back in the swing! I’ll post pics from a couple sessions within the week or … maybe next. But… SOON!
Thanks for your patience… once again! I can almost promise I’m done having surgeries… and babies for the year. Actually, I can promise on the babies -done there. Done with surgeries in general - as far as I’m concerned!
Keep watching… OH, and the new site is LIVE! Halfway. The wedding site seems to be working beautifully, the blog is linked without trouble, but the portrait site is a little sketchy at this moment. I’m working on that with our web designer. More soon… as usual.
