I did warn you that this blog isn’t all business. It’s also a little of the real us. Olivia is almost FIVE! I can’t even begin to grasp the thought of that. Olivia turning five means so many things - it means she’s that much closer to starting kindergarten, it means we’ve lived in central Oregon for five years, it means I’m not in my 20’s anymore, it means life is flashing by way too fast.
Even though it is all going too fast, we had a blast planning her BIG BASH. She decided on a Halloween theme this year and we went all out. Not a lot of pictures, but I did grab a quick photo of all her guests in costume, and how could I NOT take a picture of her spider cake!?
A big THANK YOU to the moms who stayed to help out, and to all the moms for bringing such great kids to Livy’s party!
Well, we’re still playing catch up on all these last minute high school seniors, but we’re getting there. Just this last couple of days I was able to process 4 sessions and get them all online for ordering and such. We can’t blog each and every one of you, but I try to blog as many as I can. The session I just finished up is Kathaleen, she’s rip roarin’ through her senior year and has some great aspirations for college. Kathaleen is in drama so she wanted some of her photos taken on stage - which was super fun. I think her drama background made her a natural in front of the camera. Here are a handful from her session.
Up next - I might- that’s a BIG might post a picture of this ridiculous spider cake I’m trying to make for Olivia’s 5th birthday. Only if it turns out. And only if I get caught up on my real work first. Not that making cakes isn’t real work (because it is!) I just mean the blogging part. We also have a couple of weddings to finish up, which we will for sure post pictures of.
Update blog, check. Burn back up discs for lots of sessions, check. Email people back, check. Go have family fun at the pumpkin patch, check. Drink lots of caffeine today, check. Drew-proof the house now that he’s learned to walk… umm, I don’t know if that’s possible. Make Livy’s birthday invitations, check. Yes! Not too bad for a days work.
So, the blog is suffering from neglect, verging on abuse. i’m sorry about that. We’ve been busy - as usual with lots of good stuff. Some of it is about to make me prematurely gray, but we’ll get through it. Family stuff that’s going on - well, Drew is walking now! Yikes! Somehow the girls didn’t present such a challenge when they learned how to walk. Olivia is having a super Halloween birthday bash for her big #5, so we’re decorating, making invitations, all that fun party planning. Zoey is busy at school. Steve is doing that Steve thing he does - and that’s the family front.
On the Fusion front - wow! Lots of high school seniors. You guys have been calling, emailing. I hear you. I haven’t forgotten you. I’m on it.
